In January 1999, Lt. Brossard was promoted to sergeant 1 and assigned to the detective bureau where he handled a variety of cases. In June 2001, Lt. Brossard was promoted to sergeant and assigned to supervise the dispatch center/court cars. In 2003 he returned to the road patrol. Since 2004 he has been assigned to the dayshift road patrol. In November 2011 Sheriff Anthony Wickersham promoted Brossard to lieutenant and assigned him to the midnight shift. In 2013 Lt. Brossard was assigned to supervise the sheriff’s marine division in Harrison Township. Lt. Brossard has attended many different advanced courses at the Macomb police academy over his 25 year career at the sheriff’s office and has over 700 hours in course work. Lt. Brossard has degrees from the following universities; · Schoolcraft College AAS · Siena Heights University BS · Mountain State University MA In 2013 Lt. Brossard graduated from 29th session of Staff & Command from Eastern Michigan University.. In his off-duty hours Lt. Brossard is a paid on call firefighter for his community. He holds a basic EMT license and is trained in ice rescue and hazardous materials. Lt. Brossard holds a senior command position in the fire service. Lt. Brossard is married with three children and resides in New Baltimore. |
